If you mean >>2514366, they PM’d me a transparent version of that image. They just don’t want to upload it because transparent-izing the background required removing the artist’s signature. That’s a fair reason to not reupload, IMO.

Probably will be a little less, but historically there’s several hundred submissions in the last few days (and past the deadlines), so there’s still a number of images to be submitted

If my count is accurate, then the next character tagged for the collab will be the 1000th character submitted this year.

If you don’t have any extensions or options mentioning it, you’re probably fine. Every browser has a UAS by default, but some people go out of their way to hide theres and send a blank one.

If you’re using TOR, Derpibooru has an Onion address which should bypass that captcha. You can find information about that here
 
Also, if you’re using an extension or browser that hides your User Agent String, or sends a blank one, that could be causing the issues to. I believe those are blocked by Cloudflare because spam bots were causing issues.

Generally my preference is that if someone’s submitting an overly large (20+ character) image, they give me a PSD file with each character on a separate layer. That’s not necessary, but it does make things easier.

Last time I counted (about a week ago) it was a difference of about twenty characters, give or take.
 
A major difference is last year had a lot more images submitted, but they were largely solo characters. This year feels like there’s a significantly higher number of duo and group images.
 
The character count is the more significant number, not the image count.
