So… yeah at the risk of self-promoting or breaking some potential rule I don’t know about, here is a certain dwm ‘leader’ getting caught out in a lie. Again.
 
Naturally she ignored it completely.

What everyone else said. It wasn’t what April tried to do, it’s how she tried to do it that pissed universally everyone off. And yeah, you kind of left out the part that what 4chan has done to her isn’t even half as bad as what she and her followers have done to others, including sending death threats to a 15 year old boy. Feels bad, man.
 
Whether she deserves the scorn she is taking is a matter of opinion (Personally, I think she does deserve every bit of it), but regardless of that she has done everything in her power to bring it onto herself. What she has done is basically thrust her hand into an ant hill, and rather than pull it out, begin screaming at the ants to stop stinging her.
 
Do yourself a favor: Listen to both sides before you decide to take and defend one. Here you go. Take a gawk at Tenafly Viper’s blog and come to your own conclusion on the matter. And before you say it, “Too Long Didn’t Read” is basically the mating call of the person who doesn’t want to be proven wrong.

Let me tell you something,it’s not 2011 anymore. I’m sure there are plenty of people who wish to go back to the days when the fandom wasn’t so intricate and just a bunch of people who enjoyed a cartoon show.
 
Love and Tolerance was just supposed to be a counter troll measure for fans so that others wouldn’t get under their skin and frustrate others. And to a point it did work for others. However it was never meant to be taken and should have not been taken as the modus operandi as anyone who watches the show. The words and ideas like that are not expressed in the show with each other. That does not condone bad behavior but it’s almost foolish to expect people to take that to heart as soon as they watch the show.
 

 
In my honest opinion this whole charade has boils down to, I don’t like this thing on the internet therefore I must remove it,instead of acknowledging that it’s just one of the things on the internet I cannot have control over and be on my way.I’ve never liked the concept of Princess Molestia,I’ve thought it was dumb the first time I heard about it back in 2011,still do to this day and I was rather apathetic towards the blog JJ did.
 
 
However when this whole thing started I already could tell that this whole thing was doomed. Because PinkiePony took the same passive aggressive stance in which social justice crusades and on tumblr are infamous for.
 
To this day I do not believe for a second that she was babysitting a younger child and showed her Celestia in her pony and she said that “she rapes ponies”. It sounds way too convenient much like her other stories that she has told in the past 6 months in order to drum up support from her followers and people who are part of DWM.
 
People are always so quick to point out the fact that /mlp/ got PinkiePony’s information when they did nothing with it. No packages were sent,no letters, no pizzas nothing. And in that same vein no emails or messages of intent were sent to her directly. I don’t think anyone should receive death threats or intent to harm over ponies. Because that’s honestly a frivolous thing to come to blows over and anyone who did commit such an act would be the biggest fool of all. I have seen many people who have not condoned /mlp/‘s actions who were also against DWM.
 
 
Pinkie is poor leader,she may have told people stop harassing Mayde but at the same time hasn’t taken time to admonish those who have harassed others including rape victims who have expressed ill-content with DWM’s stance and conduct. Instead she continued to regurgitate the same cliches about bronies and antagonize them whilst spinning stories in her favor on how she had her paypal robbed and had her computer hacked.
 
 
I cannot empathize with someone who wishes to use an 11 year-old fighting for his life situation and bring attention to themselves. Asking where was “their own support when they attempted suicide” when they should be grateful that they have use of their senses,breath and still be alive. They could have at least shown support for Michael but they let their own bitterness take priority.
 
 
I apologize for the rant but these recent happenings have really lit a fire in me.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the hate, threats, “bullying” etc. started on “their” side before DWM and all that mess actually started and they focused on JJ as a target. I’d know, I was getting it. Lord knows actual artists were getting.

The fandom is not bullying a girl, just a bunch of people. The same thing could be said about Michael, haters werent attacking him, just a bunch of idiots who thought taunting him because of what he liked was good.
 
Down with generalizations and dis-information, leading to low quality opinions.

Gotta’ say this.  
Here’s the entire fandom rallying against bullies after what happened to Michael. “Love and tolerate”.  
Yet just a short time before a girl starts a campaign against what was a crap blog and all of that was out the window with everything up to doxing and death threats. Not to mention how people get pounced on for making OC’s that don’t conform to other’s standards (especially the Terrible Ponies and Terrible Terrible Ponies blogs on Tumblr).  
This fandom needs to stop being hypocrites. I know it’s not everyone but it’s a good amount.

She’s not a bad artist in all honesty, but I would never consider her to be anything even above average. Her style is nice, but what she draws is always really bland and uninteresting (Not even counting the DWM/PARC crap).
 
Artistic ability and style hardly means anything. Take The Weaver, for example. He has a very simplistic and minimalist style, but it’s instantly recognizable and always manages to be fucking made of gold. He’s easily in my top five artists on this site.
 
I like to compare April’s art style to a painting of poop. No matter how well it’s done, it’s still just a painting of poop.

The thing is she does them in vaguely g2 style, which is practically unheard of. As far as art/toys went that was my favourite generation. Was always bummed it never got a show or more than like two cruddy games coded on the back of dinner napkins.

I hate that she makes me want to buy her Rarity & Sweetie pic (probably as a poster/print, or maybe a mousepad). I can’t fathom giving away money to evil entities (such is why I never buy Coke and Pepsi products, but most especially Coke) no matter how much I want what they’re selling.

Not even going to give two bucks about her. She’ll try to find out if the charities involve meet SJW standards then rant when they don’t, or complain about how they chose the Pegasopolis flag rather than a DWM banner or some other insert argument here. I’m glad these people went out, participated, and came back uninjured while doing a good deed.

Figured a follow-up from the previous thread is in order: Last Saturday the bronies over at Lancaster University (UK) competed in a 10k to raise awareness of domestic violence and to help victims. The group raised £314 or $511 while the event raised £6073 or $9889. Here are the participants:
