AoT is the most overrated thing to have come out recently

The first half of SOA is decent and the ending was pretty well handled (Then the second part came out…)
 
School Days I like the mean spirited jabs at the highschool genre (This coming from a guy that like School Rumble, Azumanaga and Sket Dance), that’s just my sick sense of humour.
 
The worst animes I’ve seen are usually not because they are bad, but because I couldn’t feel anything for the characters when I watched it, I had no investment.
 
One would be Attack on Titan: The animation is beautiful, the music the same, but the atmosphere is too depressing and in no way did I ever felt like rootting for them because the anime doesn’t make a point in saying “This is mankind’s counterattack!” but more like “This is the last humans alive and they will die eventually” (The manga on the other hand is more optimisstic overall and who knows, maybe Season 2 will change it)
 
Now Eiken, Ikki Tousen and Master of Martial Hearts… I don’t think I have to say anything else

i only ever saw the first episode and clips out of the “better half” of SAO and im already rolling my eyes at it

Dear anime schoolboys:
 
“I am a healthy teenage boy” isn’t a good excuse for, like, half of what you do.

We didn’t have a general anime thread before this? Jeez, what’s the matter with us?
 
Anyway, yesterday I went to this anime store with a friend. It looked pretty sketchy; it was a white building with no windows, only a little door with the name of the store sketched on. The workers inside tried to sell me a six foot statues of Goddess Madoka, which I would have loved if I actually had room for.
 
I bought two figurines, one from some old-timey anime/dating sim called ToHeart. I mean, she was pretty adorable. Pretty good day.

So this tsundere thing. I like them largely because they have actual characters and are feisty etc etc.
 
What are some good ones? I have ready seen Eri and Asuka so those are covered.

Space runaway Ideon is some pretty good shit
 
I liked Toei Mazinger Z judging by the first 12 or so episodes
 
I loved Gaogaigar and I recommend it to anyone who can Stand Monster of the Week
 
I back up Moog on his Jewelpet Rec, It’s pretty good for a Girl’s show (Your Mileage May Vary On how it compares to a certain other Girl’s show)

i saw it in my giant book of anime reviews, i might actually give it a shot sometime

One anime I would like to recommend is “Gregory Horror Show”, I kind of prefer the second season since it has a better protagonist and better animation but the first season is still pretty good.  
Also the episodes are short and you can pretty much watch one season in about an hour.

i like Gurren Lagann but i think theres better mecha series out there, though it was my first mecha so ill give it that
