Rarity.
The most boring character who is pretty much just a comic relief character who does funny faces and overreacts to stuff and that’s it.

Twilight, because she has royal duties that could justify removing her in a more positive way than really anypony else, and because Starlight could take her place in the group dynamic.
Rainbow Dash, because she could go full-time Wonderbolt which isn’t really all that negative either. Plus, having Strawberry Sunrise take her place would lead to some wonderfully funny scenes with Applejack.
Rarity, because it’s high time she gets pregnant with Spike’s eggs already. And Starlight could replace her instead of Twilight.
Fluttershy because she’s so quiet it’d be unlikely anypony would notice she’s gone. Plus she’d probably be happier under her bed with her critters.
Applejack, because there are lots of other background ponies who could sub in for her in each episode. Besides, those apples aren’t going to harvest themselves. (And no, Twilight, Starlight, DO NOT try to change that fact. Sentient apples that harvest themselves WILL NOT work out well.)
Pinkie Pie, because …I can’t really think of a reason. She hasn’t been uniformly insufferable since midway through Season 2. I guess just so she doesn’t feel left out of this list.
