“Hopefully enough for me to have my fun.” Dash kicked off her shoes and set her board down, then tested the water with a hoof. “Hmm…”

surprisingly enough the changeling from earlier joined them shortly after as well.
 
“i can only imagine how big those waves can actually get.”

To anyone else who may be reading: This was just a brief aside, we are returning to the main action now.)
 
The stallion laughed. A laugh that was harmless, but that some ponies might consider menacing.
 

 
Soon enough, Dash, Alexander, and Silver arrived at the sandy shores of the beach. The boat, it seemed, had already departed, only leaving the three of them. The waves crashed onto the shore. Dash grinned upon arriving there. “This is gonna be great!”

She rolled her eyes. “I swear, your puns will be the death of me.” She closed her book and goes to get ready for the party.
 
(I’m going to bed, but I’ll try to get up early.)

“Might as well. You may find the selection quite intriguing. Plus…” He stared into her eyes. “You know I’d just die if you didn’t show up!” And he “choked” himself with his tie, pretending it was a hangman’s noose.

“Rainbow Dash? You invited her?” Annabelle said with a look of disbelief on her face. “Hm…well on second thought I see no harm in attending then, if only to see who else you invited.”

“Well, that wouldn’t have been as interesting, would it?” He finished tying his tie. “Besides, they’re not all random strangers. Some of them are famous. Like that Rainbow girl. Already saved the world multiple times and a member of the Wonderbolts, and at such a young age?”

“The party was my idea yes, but you’re the one who invited random strangers. I had expected and hoped you would invite our friends.”

“You won’t?” The stallion turned to his wife with a look of surprise. “Come, now. This was your own idea, your own party. Why wouldn’t you come?”

“I won’t be attending the party, tell them I’m not feeling well or something to that effect.”

“Right.” He stood up and grabbed his tie from a hanger next to the bed. “Anna, my dear, why aren’t you dressed yet? We have guests here, you know.”

“Right here darling.” Anna was in the same spot that he left her, sitting in her chair and reading…and still in her nightgown.

 
Somewhere inside the mansion, a unicorn stallion was getting dressed. He was buttoning up a white collared shirt while sitting on the bed. The stallion was about middle-age, with a gray coat of fur and a brown mane with a matching mustache. He looked up as he sat there.
 
“Oh, honey!” he called out. “Anna, darling? Are you near?”

Dana went somewhere private the change. She got herself a bikini on, it had a tiger stripe pattern on it. Unfortunately the top was one or two bra sizes too small for here. She still kept it on despite the discomfort.

“Alright.” Dash stretched her wings out and then leaped into the air, flapping her wings to keep her hovering slightly above the others. She held her board under her arm. “Let’s go!”

“Well, I’m ready.” Alex hadn’t changed out of his clothes but had a towel on, he didn’t intend to get into the water and only intended to walk along the beach and enjoy the scenery

“Don’t worry, we’ll let you know where we are.”

“I’m ready,” said Silver. Her clothing consisted of a shirt with a skirt that went down just passed her knees. It had a good attached, but this was not over her head at the moment. She had a scarf, though it was tucked away in a pocket. Beneath this was some more beach-worthy clothing; the top layer was more just for show and to act as proper clothing.

A even redder blush appeared on Dana’s cheeks.
 
Dana: I gotta go change, you can go without me, I’ll come to the beach when I’m ready.

Soon enough, Dash left her room again wearing a black-and-yellow wetsuit top and matching yellow swimming panties. She was carrying her surfboard. “Ready to go?” she asked.

Awkward silence.

It was about that time when Gerry left his own cabin and walked into the road, carrying his flask with him.

She hadn’t thought this conversation out well. “Oh…um…alright…”

“Suit yourself. Let me know soon if you guys change your mind and do want to go swimming, though.” She returned into the cabin as the two other mares talked.
