Dana: I don’t like it either… But I might as well stay… I’ll take whatever cabin is leftover, and if there isn’t one for me, I won’t mind sleeping on the ground.

“Certainly. And yeah, I heard about the springs, I’ll have to try that out sometime. Anyway, I’m putting my stuff away and then am gonna try out those waves. Anyone wants anything from me, I’ll be in my room!”
 
And with that, she went into her cabin and shut the door.
 
Gerry looked around. “I guess I’ll take whichever one… still don’t trust this place.”

“Hmm. Neat.” She took the cabin next to Dash’s. “Didn’t know there were hotsprings here.”

Dana: Well… You could at least say it’s sort of a paradise…

“Eyy, we’re here!” Dash smiled. The cabins surrounded the pathway on both left and right sides. “Alright, so I assume each of us gets a cabin. I mean, there are more than enough for us.” She took the closest one to the road before noticing a sign. “Hmm?”
 
The sign was like a roadsign. It pointed three different directions. Back the way they came was “Beaches.” To the right was “Hotsprings.” Further down the path was “The Mansion.”

Took Dana a few minutes to notice, she was too busy looking at Dash’s bod.

Dash suspected that Dana and others might be eyeing her. She didn’t really mind, though. She wouldn’t have worn tight shorts if she didn’t want people looking.
 
The gravel path took a curve to the left as they headed into the woods. They soon came across a series of cabins.

She followed right behind Dash. Mainly because she wanted to take a few looks at certain parts.

(I literally said, “He then turned the intercom back on and spoke to them again.”)

“Eh, I’m ready for it. Adrenaline junkie over here, remember?” Now carrying her bag and board once again, she continued down the path.

Dana: …I heard… I mean, he’ll probably throw a light show to scare us off.
 
Dana half believed what she said.

(He did answer. See the part that said, “I will tell you all I know at dinner time. Legends have it that this island… is possessed. Surely you have heard all about the deaths that have occurred here, right?”)

Dash frowned. “Well, he said he’d tell us at dinner time. Might as well get settled in until then, right?” She landed back down and gathered her bags.

Silver looked to him, a tad bit annoyed. “I heard you. I don’t understand it either. It’s either a setup, a scam, or there’s something we don’t quite understand.”

“he completely ignored everything i said… and you lot aren’t listening either, are you?”
 
he just sighs as he makes his way along the trail to find himself a cabin.

Somewhere in a room inside the mansion, Mr. Price turned to Annabelle and smirked. “Hey, this was your idea, you know.” He then turned the intercom back on and spoke to them again.
 
“I will tell you all I know at dinner time. Legends have it that this island… is possessed. Surely you have heard all about the deaths that have occurred here, right?”

Back on the beach, Gerry nodded. “Yes, I told them all about it. About how I was there.”
 
“Ah, yes, Gerry,” the voice replied. “Well, for the time being, I suggest finding your rooms and getting settled in. There are smaller cabins for you further down this trail. You will find the island itself easy to navigate. There are signs pointing you to the beach, to the hotsprings, to your cabins, and to my mansion when it comes time for dinner.”
 
“Will you actually show yourself at dinner time?” Dash asked.
 
“But of course! What kind of host would I be not to join my own guests? Anyway, I hope you all find your rooms satisfactory. Right now, I have other business to attend to. Until then.”
 
There was silence afterwards.

Meanwhile, Annabelle sat on her chair while she read a book. Upon hearing her husband speak to their guests through the intercom she rolled her eyes. “Playing with your toys again darling?”

Dana showed no signs of giving up, though, she is practically the uninvited guest.

“maybe you could tell us exactly what the challenge here is, the island has clean water, plenty of fruit and no particularly aggressive predators, i can’t find a parkour of challenges either so gameshow is out too… i can’t seem to find a reason we wouldn’t be alive at the end of the second day unless you have a private army with guns arrayed against us.”

“He’s the one who owns the mansion and issued the challenge. Remember?” Gerry raised an eyebrow, surprised that Silver didn’t remember this.
 
“I am Mr. Price,” the voice said. “I assume this is Gerry who is talking?”
 
“Where are you?” Dash asked, flying among the trees and searching for a source for the voice. “Show yourself!”
 
“My, my, you sound like a feisty one!” the voice spoke up again. “Do not worry, I will join you guys eventually. Right now, I am just sorting things out with my wife.”
 
Dash quickly found the source of the sound: a speaker that was attached to one of the trees.

“our host… did you even read the invitation?”

Silver replied to Gerry, “Who’s Mr. Price?”

All of a sudden, a voice came seemingly out of nowhere.
 
“Well, if you want to return to the boat, you still have time.”
 
Dash let out a little gasp of surprise. “Who said that?” She set her bag down and jumped into the air, looking around for the source of the sound.
 
Gerry frowned. “Mr. Price.”

Dana quickly nodded, took the bag, and vomited.
 
Dana: _{I wanna go back on the boat.}

“…Uh…?” Dash say Dana and frowned with concern. “You… you okay there, Dana?”
 
“Hold on.” Gerry reached into his pocket and pulled out a wrinkled paper bag. “Need this?” He handed the bag to Dana.
