Capcom should not forget about Super Adventure Rockman. True, Inafune hated it overall, but that doesn’t make it objectively bad. Also, Inafune was more of a man in creative control of Megaman up until the Legends 3 cancellation fiasco. A shame that Super adventure Rockman never came to the West. Oh, and a man named Akira is the real creator of Megaman. Sadly, he left Capcom during MM3’s development.

My first GB games was Zelda DX and Pokemon Red, along with a Very long wait, I finally got Mega Man 2 since it was the first one I say.
 
They’ll probably working on a GB Micro, probably. Although, it’d be cool if they had a GameBoy online with the actual Super GameBoy color schemes for the games. Not sure if they can or will though.

How did they get away with nudity in Mega Man Legend 2? The game was rated E.

Those were good too. (Y’know, Castlevania Adventure was my first CV game. Been a fan ever sense.)
 
And yeah. I really love the Gameboy’s underdog story. I’m still kinda upset at Nintendo for ignoring the GB’s anniversary last year. (And not reissuing a Classic Edition.)

People forget the numerous ads trying to shit on the Gameboy for not having colors, simple graphics and being a big white brick, but it bested all of them having a long battery life and was more portable then the competition.

Gameboy games in general tend to get ignored unfortunately. When was the last time you saw somebody discuss Wario Land, Gargoyle’s Quest, or Donkey Kong ‘94? I even see younger people whom misjudge them as “primitive/outdated” games, just because they didn’t have color, even though some games looked & played just as good as any NES or SNES game. (Though, some consider even those “primitive.”)

Yeah, though some of the others were pretty good too. 4th is pretty good, and considered one of the few as good as the NES titles.
 
MM2 for Gameboy is probably the most disliked one for being pretty easy, but I honestly prefer it over the first. The first was too hard, even for MM standards.

Very few 8-bit games featured paralax scrolling due to limitations, but surprisingly some do pull it off, including Gameboy’s “TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan.”  
(Dear, Nickelodeon, plz rerelease all classic TMNT games.)

Like I said before, people find the fifth game boy game to be the most interesting because it is not just reusing enemies and robot masters from the NES games.

No MM4 (Gameboy) was the first of the MM series to use the shop system.  
(And things like that are why I get annoyed when game sites, and stuff act like the Gameboy/portable version to every series aren’t as relevant as their console counterparts. Some Gameboy games are pretty darn advanced, look at the Gameboy Camera, or smooth animation in the “Donkey Kong Land” trilogy.)
 
MM4 is probably my favorite of the GB games, though I haven’t played 5 yet.

My favorite part about #5 is the jetski level. The paralax background scrolling was impressive too for an NES game.

Hate to sound cliché, but MM2 is probably one of my favorites.

That was never an issue for me, as I didn’t use the Bubble lead much, and honestly the final boss was kinda easy.

Mega Man 5 was epic and often overlooked game in the 8bit portion.

To be honest, the only thing that I hate from Mega Man 2 is the fact that the final boss can only be damaged by the Bubble Shooter, and if you run out of it you have to start over the whole Wily Castle. For the rest while it isn’t on my podium (the ones of my personal podium in the classic series are 7, 9 and 11) I still really like it. Althought I really like all the games in the Classic series except the very first one which didn’t age well and most importantly Mega Man and Bass, which was extremely broken.

Perhaps, but it was a vast improvement over Mega Man 1. More stages, a password system, more memorable soundttack, etc.

I feel like Mega Man 2 gets too much spotlight. I mean c’mon!  
It in reality wasn’t the best and most refined game in the series. Many other games that followed basically corrected everything MM2 did wrong.

I remember Mega Man 5 for Game boy was good because of having unique robot masters.

Maybe, or they’re just trying to keep the price low. The dongle has more games though.

Some Gameboy games have pretty good 8-bit chiptune music, but admittedly some of the earlier GB MM games could’ve been better. 4 & 5 were pretty good though.
