Seriously. As much as I should know better, and should just walk away … What the heck are you even talking about. Why would Hunter marrying Emira have ANYTHING to do with Luz and Amity. Who, again, are already a canon couple, much less make them “impossible”.

This is why I now prefer Amphibia.

But I kinda still like the show, just not as much as before.

But here’s the thing, Hunter’s last name will be Noceda. Because if you seen Part 1 of Season 3, Luz said to him that he’s family now.

And therefore if Luz and Amity get married, there will be chances any canon divergent or canon adjacent fanfiction will have Hunter, Edric and Emira as step-siblings-in-law instead of a pairing. Or, just like Camila x Alador, it will make Lumity impossible if Hunter married Emira in an alternate universe that’s not canon to the official show. Maybe fanfiction.

I don’t ship Huntlow, is just that, again, I fear my 2 ships, Luz x Amity and/or Hunter x Emira, will be called something that it’s not (like incest) because of Hunter’s last name.

I honestly can’t keep track of what you are worried about. You were just talking about shipping Willow and Hunter, and for some reason you’re talking about Lumity being incest … because of Hunter for some reason? But, like, how. They’re not even from the same reality, or species even.

It just really feels like you’re randomly fishing for something other people might care about.

Sorry. I just feel like because I ship both Huntmira and Lumity and because of Hunter being a Noceda, I fear that any of the two ships will be called incest by the fandom without knowing that Hunter isn’t blood related to Luz or Darius.

Hence the hot take since his last name would imply that it’s Hunter Noceda and not Hunter Wittebane or Hunter Clawthorne.

I have no idea what you are taking about, or how you got that from anything I said. But, no, incest is only between blood relatives, and yes, if someone is your brother or sister then they are your brother or sister.

So it depends on which religion or culture you are a part of. For example, in the USA, siblings through adoption can marry if they want, but they have to have permission from a court of law first, and prove they are not blood related. Unless they are Catholic, because that would still be considered incest.

And none of that has absolutely nothing to do with this thread. At all.
