Half a dozen Mig-21s could been seen clearly now, and two of them seemed to be on an intercept course…

the tornado series had been built specifically around fighting lock weaponry like that, and the bomber kit was no exception.

Suddenly, a loud BEEP began emitting in Sperber’s comm set…. Someone had a missile lock on him!!!

Sky would glance down at his own radar confirming it. “Yep, looks like paradise is coming to us this time.”

“Hey… I’m getting a blip on my Radar. No IFF Tag.”

“As much as I would like that, we’re getting reports of US Aircraft engaging with a large flight of Migs, near the boarder.” Gladius One butts in.

It only did stealth from the front sadly…but the combination of partial stealth and the fact its a SU with giant engines seemed to work quite well for Sky. Speaking of the lizard he would soon poke his head in the coms. “Slow day today huh?”

With a few switch flips, the tag was back up and working in the green.

I radio back. “Rodger command. Checking it out now.”
 
I take a look at my IFF tag, seeing if I can fix the blipping.

Red was a bit… Jealous, for lack of a better term, of the stealth capabilities of Sky’s jet… The F-14 was a beautiful aircraft, but it wasn’t subtle…

Zeb’s radio began to crackle with instructions from the flight leader, Gladius one. “Gladius 3, your IFF tag is blipping out… See if you can do something to fix it. I do not want you shot down by friendly SAMs.”

I flew around the Berlin area, checking my radar I patrol the skies.
 
(Hope this is a good start.)

The people in the city of Berlin looked up at the sound of Jet Engines…  
An SU-57, F-14 Tomcat, Luftwaffe Tornado, and a Mig-29, all bearing NATO IFF tags, soar over the city.  
For a month now, Berlin had been safe from siege… The front line having been pushed to the Polish German boarder, where fighting was heavy. The ground war was locked in an unfortunate, and bloody stalemate. The air war, on the other hand, was a constantly shifting battle of masterful tactics and manuvers, with the “front” constantly shifting…
 
That’s one of the reasons NATO was now sending in the Iron Aces… The war had become so costly in the air, but yet was still so vital… They needed Mercenaries to beef up their numbers.
