It would at least help distinguish it from FiM. I mean I’d hate to have Twilight’s name dropped and then someone asks “which Twilight?”

Some people think we need a new main cast for the next generation.
 
I don’t wholly disagree, but I think, on the cusp of the end, some of our ponies didn’t quite get the journeys they deserved or have the character moments they had potential for, so a do-over with the ponies i still love, even if a little different, is fine by me.

I don’t know, Spike’s iterations have always had fairly major supporting roles in the shows they’ve appeared in. Spike’s always been a major character in some form or another – I don’t how I would feel about G5 pushing him to the sidelines.

How would you react if Spike had a more diminished role in the new series?
 
Like instead of Twilight’s boy servant, he’s just a regular dragon the group eventually meets, perhaps on their first adventure?

I’m not sure about that. Mostly all of the fandoms was this gen episode online instead watching them aired on Discovery Family.
 
Plus Discovery Family is starting to less for the home for Hasbro’s animated series based on there ips.
 
Plus Transformers is on CN

Because is the Cartoon Network is the worst right now and has not been the place for cartoons.
 
 
Nick is not prefect as well and I’d don’t it on the Disney Channel. I’d really dislike there live-actions shows

well haven’t seen much of the new LPS but Transformers Cyberverse basically the designs are cross between G1 & live action movies, Bumblebee loses his memory’s & autobots are on the ropes that’s the short version to explain it anyway

Well, I think FIM was originally supposed to be that (or at least a two for one deal kind of thing). It’s also the same runtime Steven Universe has meaning they can focus down the story a bit more (assuming if G5 isn’t just consisting of movies and doesn’t get a TV show, but there is legit doubt in that). I also never heard of either of those shows.

More compact episodes could trim the fat of usual episodes.

so going by Transformers Cyberverse & Littlest Pet Shop A World of Our Own will G5 episodes only be 11 minutes long?

I posted this on a pic, but I wanted to post it here for anyone else feeling nervous like I am. I won’t be following this thread so I won’t see any responses, this is just a starlight glimmer of hope for anyone who feels they are in a dark place.
 
 
I take solace in the fact that we still know next to nothing about what G5 will be like. Adding to that, I think it’s still too soon to be talking about it.
 
S9 might be the end of the road, it might not. Everyone thought S7 would be it for the show, but that clearly wasn’t the case. And a year or two is a lot of time for decisions to be made and minds to change. Maybe if we all pitch in, we can make something like this happen. Hasbro IS dependent on us, to a degree. If we weren’t important to them, I doubt FiM would have made it beyond S3.
 
I think MLP:FiM is perfect the way it is, and doesn’t need to be changed or rebooted. I love the Mane 6, the Student 6, and everyone else just the way they are. If and when G5 comes, and if it is a hard reset, I likely won’t watch it. I don’t want to see them TeenTitansGo!-ing the show that means so much to me.
 
At the moment, I mostly just hope that S9 isn’t the end. There’s still so much that this show has to offer!
 
Besides, there’s no rule that says they can’t run G4 and G5 simultaneously. That way if G5 bombs, they can always fall back to the tried and true!
 
And so long as we never forget our roots, this show will live on forever in our hearts.
