I was in a class being led by Lia Hernandez, who did a lot of the redraws and touchups for most of the manga that was translated from Japanese to English by Dark Horse and others, as well as a lot of her own original works, and I asked her if she ever felt crippling certainty that everything she drew was shit and that she would never be able to draw anything good, and if so, how she got over it. And she said;
“Oh, honey. It only gets worse. The longer you draw the more powerful that self-doubt will become. But you have to ask yourself; do you want to draw or not?”

Finishing a piece and not liking it is a sign that you see places you want to improve. That’s good.
Also btw yes you draw really, really good.
After reading the rant / analysis / self-critique you made on your last upload I can see that you’re sort of doing it right. I wish I could give some tips but boi, you’re already above my level. I actually learn from you.
