I’m a little late to pipe back up, but I must protest. I can see an earnest argument for quartet, the tag had grown reasonably large on it’s own. I’m dubious about quintet if only for how uncommon of word it is which likely contributed to how small the tag was. However I am adamant sextet must be merged. I’m going to risk making myself seem foolish later and state here that the average person has to actively count heads to know if there are six or more characters in a scene and therefore the tag is largely worthless for searching or filtering.

I set the implications.

Would it help if the specific duo/trio/quartet/quintet/sextet tags mentioned that the characters should have similar focus or otherwise be implied to be connected or actually part of a group? You don’t want quintet on a trio pic with some background characters.

Quartet, quintet and sextet are specifically groups of four, five and six. They should imply group, as should trio, but they shouldn’t be aliased.

Personally see no reason these tags can’t exist anyway, just implying group. I do get your point tho.
