Sun Wukong was sucked into a magic gourd that dissolves whoever gets trapped inside it. He didn’t dissolve even a little bit.

Let’s not forget about Sun Wukong from the Chinese novel Journey to the West. He can be decapitated and disemboweled, but neither bother him in the slightest.
