King Koopa is so evil, he actually gave these away to kids.
 
I think the notorious Power Glove (made by Mattel, not even a game company) is the reason Nintendo doesn’t allow third-parties to make official accessories for their consoles anymore.  
At least, the Wii-remote shows motion gaming can be done properly. (Well, unless you ask the Wii-haters. Some people are actually still afraid to touch a Wii-mote. “Ew casual!” lol)

Maybe a character designer really liked Launchpad McQuack from “Duck Tales.”
 
I actually liked DiC’s redesigns for King Bowser Koopa & Robotnik in the old Mario & Sonic cartoons, but the Captain N redesigns were kinda…  
Well, at least Zelda & Link looked kinda cool. (Yes, they sometimes guest-starred on “Captain N”)

Rumour has it was because the TV the animators used to study the characters had a considerable tint to it, so Mega Man’s colour palette looked a lot warmer.

I didn’t know that was on the show. I should have guessed, they made the Game Boy an annoying sidekick character to promote it.

And I mean… baaaad… this thing is bad… why need a glove, to play a game, what’s wrong with this? Huh? IDK, I thought this was ok, playing it with… y’know the controller, so if anything the power glove, it’s an interesting experiment in gaming… but too bad that they were just f j off!!
