I admit, I love fandom drama. I often think it was a forced adaptation from my years in the Sonic Fandom.

Nah dude, this is all fandom bullshit; it has no effect whatsoever on anyone enjoying the show without interacting with fandom in general. I know several people who love the show but have nothing to do with any fans they don’t know personally, specifically because they don’t feel like getting involved in bullshit fan drama.

The moral of the story is never let politic get hold of your cartoon.Which means FIM is rotten to the core,fandom being so caught on all the pitiful political fisticuff like GamerGate and anything involving 4Chan.Add to the mix the controversy (yes it’s a controversy regardless you like it or not,the extremely venomous reaction of the female fanbase proove that sexism goes both ways) of male audience appreciating a girl show,yeah FIM is pretty much ruined when it come to escapism and mere enjoyment.That left pretty much only the little girls who can watch this without worrying about whatever Internet controversy the Internet will spawn from its loins

Has the character ever been used for anything other than a hoofpuppet/author tract for overall nastiness and exclusionary fandom drama garbage? At some point you have to acknowledge that the appearance of a duck automatically implies being knee deep in quack.
 
You keep coming back to people being angry over “her mere existence” as the thing that’s bothering you, but you’re not explaining how exactly that’s supposed to be an unreasonable position. The singular thing she’s known for is sexist fandom shitstirring; it’s not even any kind of misunderstanding or misrepresentation, she goes out of her way to be deliberately and belligerently provocative about it. That’s why I used that worthless shitpile Nazi Pony thing as an example, even if you’re going to herculean lengths of feigned obtuseness to avoid the taken-to-its-logical-extreme comparison; both are symbols of a hateful ideology which can reasonably be assumed to be, by their very appearance in context, an endorsement of the ideology which they represent. If people find that ideology offensive, what exactly is your complaint with them registering disapproval of it?
