I swear, weight cutting in my opinion, is the most difficult task I’ve ever seen in my life if I were to become a combat athlete.
For example, you are booked to fight an opponent in about a few weeks before the event but you weigh more than 50 pounds than your opponent. All you need to do is to not eat or just take as little as less than 300 calories per day, not drink for several days, wearing or being strapped in some sort of thick tight jacket for many hours and absolutely exercizing your body far beyond it’s physical limits all in just a few days before the weigh in. Most fighters a few days before the weigh ins usually pass out from starvation or dehydration which leading them from being cancelled out of the event. You will be disqualified out of the event if your weight does not meet the required amount of weight you are supposed to weigh.
