Same. Plus, my inner fanboy is glad that Noodle is wearing the striped shirt again, a callback to the Demon Days era. :D

Anyone have a song that just stirs up memories, good or bad? I’ve got a lot of those.
One that comes to mind is Elvenking’s On the Morning Dew
It was the song of ex fiancee and myself. Despite how poorly that ended, song still brings back the better memories.

One song does:
‘Selfless’ by It’s Alive.
My ex dedicated it to me when we dated. Kinda hard to hear it now.

Apparently Snoop Dogg will be inducting Tupac Shakur into the
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

When discussion religious music, it’s always about Christian music. Here’s a friendly reminder that Pagan music exists, and that our sound kicks ass.

Why are rap, hip hop, and other non-rock artists frequently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

I have been asking myself that same question for a long time dude, and I still don’t know the answer.

It’s not that they’ve ran out of artists to induct–just this year, Electric Light Orchestra, Joan Baez, Journey, Pearl Jam, and Yes made it in. It’s more that, well, it seems like every year we get one artist or group that is just out of place. This year, it was Tupac. Last year, it was N.W.A. And no disrespect to either group, but this would be kind of like seeing Ronnie James Dio in the Rap/Hip-Hop Hall of Fame. There are plenty, plenty of rock bands that they could be inducting instead, like the Cars; Def Leppard; Billy Squier; Steve Vai; Sammy Hagar–I guess he was indirectly inducted with Van Halen, but still–Soundgarden; Emerson, Lake and Palmer; Alice in Chains; Dio; Mike Oldfield; King Crimson; Iron Maiden; George Thorogood and the Destroyers; Weezer; Gary Numan; Nine Inch Nails; Chic (including Nile Rodgers); Thin Lizzy; the Chambers Brothers; Rage Against the Machine; Bruce Hornsby; Joe Jackson; Jefferson Starship; the Dave Matthews Band… I could go on.

Wait, they finally inducted Journey?
Huh, I’ve been harping on that for years. Guess they finally did it.
I lost faith in the Hall when the E-Street band got inducted in.

Nothing, I just don’t think a backing band should have gotten in before, you know, bands like Journey.
