The “French are cowards” joke has always been false since they’ve always put up a good fight. Even in WW2, they had plenty of troops in Africa fighting alsongside the allies.

I suspected it was one, which is why my reply included that self-depreciative barb regarding the quality of our military command (in all honesty, when a bunch of armchair generals keep letting Zee Germans steamroll you all the way to Paris when your forces were evenly matched to begin with, you can’t help but wonder if you didn’t deserve it a little bit: it happened in 1870, it almost happened in 1914, and then it happened again in 1940 after all).

The USSR lasted 70 years and that didn’t stop them from eventually collapsing. It can happen to N. Korea too, I wouldn’t count out that possibility.
 

It was moreso because we were smart, patient and cautious rather than just lucky. And yes, I do believe it can happen again if we play our cards right as opposed to just flat out attacking N. Korea which I think would be a very stupid move. We need strategy and diplomacy, not brainless brawn.

Wars happen. Is shit, but is reality. Wars are also very rare these days; even with all the fighting going on right now, there are fewer wars today than at any time in history, and the trend is always down. I spent my childhood in a relatively peaceful period, but compared to now it was a bloodbath of terrorism and international conflict. The difference was availability of knowledge of those facts (and the precise form of the overreactions of various governments). I only knew about a couple of wars in Africa and the middle east, and about the ira blowing up chunks of my home. You know every detail of every fight on every part of the globe involving more than three people. It skews your perspective just as the lack of knowledge skewed my childhood view of things.

So, I just watched Paul Joseph Watson’s video titled “I WON’T BE AROUND MUCH LONGER”.
 
I find it funny whenever Paul Joseph Watson or people like him claim that Youtube is banning conservative Youtubers or people with controversial opinions to promote a leftist agenda.
 
Youtube is banning whichever content they think will make their platform look bad to the public, this ironically goes hand and hand with the privatization that people like Paul claim to love so much, this has nothing to do with promoting leftism, social justice, or socialism or anything of the like.
 
Of course these people will ignore the fact that left wing channels like Contrapoints, Shaun And Jen, Bat’ko The Manarchist, Secular Talk, DemotivatorOpinion, ect. have been censored or demonetized too.

Actually I find that hilariously ironic if that’s true, because knowing a couple of these channels, espiaclly Timmy(DemotivatorOpinion,) They advocated or been around people that advocate for censoring and removing other Youtubbe channels based souly on petty grievances and violence against people they deem “Muh Nazi”
