Here is an easy way to tell if it’s Drill Man.
Does he have a full face? If so then not Drill Man.
Does he have a Drill on top of his head? If so then it is Drill Man.

Also as much as I love the “main” series of games(original, X, Zero, ZX), I am more fond of the Battle Network games.

Admittedly I sometime think of Spark Man as Bolt Man(with the rings about his torso when it should be smooth it looks more like a bolt, as well as a “bolt” of electricity) and Needle Man as Spike Man(aka instadeath).

Have to say, I think I subscribe to your way of thinking. Battle Network kicks all sorts of ass and I don’t get why so many people seem to dislike it, it has one of the best battle systems in RPGs ever.

Seriously, why the FUCK is Crapcom re-releasing the NES hexalogy again when I’d pay top dollar for a Mega Man Battle Network collection for the 3DS?

Ya, and my fondness for it extend to the Star Force series, but the story of them didn’t click with me like Battle Network did, I loved the battle systems and would actually try out even chip I got just to come up with new strategies and find all the program advances.

I still have all my copies of the BN games and a GameBoy Micro(Lost my GBA SP when I moved and needed a cheap replacement) so I can go back and play them from time to time.

Because most of the fans aren’t into RPG games at all?

I myself aren’t fond of RPG games and Battle Network, either. My cousin is. And man, is he ambitious whenever he plays his games.

Oh, and I am a PC master race, though I also do like myself some console games, although usually the retro ones.

@Solitude
Where can I read more of these shorts? I’m new to the Archie Comics, but it looks nice.

Eh, I tried Starforce once, didn’t really like it, I felt that restricting movement to three panels and making chip combos about columns instead of codes watered down the strategic value of Battle Network. Not anything against the games, just not my thing.

Ya, that was a bad move.
Kind of wish there had been another one where they went back to the codes and allowed more of the area to move around it, it might of kept things going so that Legends 3 would of not been canned.
Or at lest if they released Operate Shooting Star outside of Japan, I mean an enhanced port of the first BN game with the added bit of crossover with SF.
It was the fist game with the improved battle system of later BN games.

“Enhanced” is a dodgy term. From what I’ve head, the music was actually worse than the original GBA release by adding more bitcrush(and keep in mind, DTDS remastered all the music and made it sound great), they still didn’t really fix the major issues of the game (the Internet being confusing as hell to navigate in, the fucking Power Plant), and the additional crossover content was like, one hour of length maximum.

Map on the bottom screen that have upper and lower lever at different shade so you can tell if they cross or not, so just look at the bottom screen.

It’s enhanced by using the improved battle system of later BN games, you have to admit the first version of it had problems, you also get to play as SF Mega man or parts of it then after beating the side story with him you can switch between the two Megas and it added some new chips as well, the music is the only thing bad I have seen said about it but at the same time i have seen it be said to not be recommend for anyone that hasen’t play the first game or not a big fan.

Not too fond of ZX, but I say, I partly like it because it combines the lighthearted and silly part of the Classic and the seriousness of X and Zero. And it’d be a shame not to continue the ZX series.

Thanks. :3
Also, Crash Man x Lyra shipping when?

Long long into the future, it;s why I say a third ZX could set up the history of Legends., what we know of the history ther does not match up with ZX, so a lead into the event of the several thousand years before Legends, that is the set up of the society of the “ancient humans” i all that we need to tie them together neatly.
