The funniest and saddest part of this entire debacle is how wont the anti-“Nazi” side was to act in accordance with the reasoning of actual fascists in their argumentation, positing that particular ideas are unfit for public consumption and dangerous even to show, let alone consider, and to even give them a thought was to cast your entire lot in with them regardless of your actual beliefs.

Nobody did drive them off. They were fine with the rules of this site for 8 years.  
Do you want to tell us that Dilarus and his sheeple didn’t know that there are Aryanne pics on this site during all this time? They were ok with it before. Suddenly they decided that they aren’t ok with it and they tried to force their own political opinion down the throat of everybody.
 
And you think that the people who are saying that the site was fine all those years and it doesn’t need a radical totalitarian authoritarian censorship did drive them off?

They say that being on a platform where someone else draws a swastika means to support and endorse Nazis. By the same logic you endorse pedophiles when you are uploading something here and someone else uploads foalcon.  
They did use this site for years.  
So those people did support Nazis and Pedophiles for years… by their own logic.  
So Dilarus is a Nazi and a Pedophilia supporter. That he changed his opinion after years doesn’t matter, it never does for the Twitter rage mob. Cancel culture doesn’t care if you might think different now.

The first page only has all those upvotes because they intentionally merged the edit on top of the original to fake it having that much traction to begin with, and even after unmerging the mouthpiece edit kept all the original stats. It’s an absolutely dishonest tactic.

First, the “pedophiles” won’t generally work because SJW harbors MAPs, i.e. literal pedophiles trying to avoid retribution by changing their presentation, but not their actions - you need to get up close and personal, and then going after foalcon does sometimes work. Second, Twitter has way more nazis. So does FA. And glutamate. And DA (75k images in fact, compared to Derpi’s 3.6k).  
It is not about nazis. It was never about nazis. “Nazi” is just a bludgeon they’re trying to beat people into submission with, same way it was “violent videogames”, “satanic messages in music”, “financial conspiracy”, “homosexual agenda”, “being a witch” etc etc etc many times before.

Give even a single shred of proof that brigading happened (downvotes are not brigading when people dislike the image individually), that edits weren’t immediately taken down, and that personal attacks happened and also weren’t taken down in short order.  
Go on. Provide proof.  
You won’t, because even if the proof exists, it proves you wrong. This is why y’all always resort to lying, to emotional, false claims, to cherry-picking - the actual sources are against you.
 
You’ll also have to provide proof that banning “nazi content” will stop any of that; a very strong proof, given “brigading, edits and personal attacks” are not causally related to “nazi” in any way, shape, or form.

It wasn’t a regular automatic dupe merging with “better”, it was dedicated dupe report by the artist and the mods just assumed goodwill and didn’t check that the contents are actually different enough for it to not be a duplicate.  
But yes, it should be a R6 violation, specifically extension of the “do not game the vote system” point.

You call out those specific people then, you report comments you consider bigoted. But the notion of banning anything specific, because a few individuals MIGHT rally behind is ridiculous. Fight the people that actually spread hatred, not some specific kind of art. I would be a thousand times more concerned about people the likes of Joseph Paul Watson than i would be of people creating nazi mlp art.

Pretty sure she’s focusing on the “by the right people” part, implying since it was done by one side, the “manipulation” was sanctioned.
 
Also y’all are talking about >>2388756 right? Guess it was merged then unmerged, and the votes got stuck on both versions; the votes could be reset on the newer edit I guess, but seems a little late now.
 
Edit: just noticed the dishonest duplicate report message, I’m really disappointed in the artist… really like their stuff, and them using that underhanded tactic to make the original unavailable for his fans on derpi, really stings.

So it’s a relatively open and shut matter of wiping all up/down votes on the mouthpiece art then, good to know.
 
Otherwise, it pretty much sets precedent for an artist to write a nice neutral sounding message, make a later edit that’s more controversial once it’s got a high amount of votes, merge / unmerge it, and then remove the old one.
