Yeah, not helped by people who are like “JUST DO IT” or tease with potential spoils just to make you mad. Not everyone is in a hurry and it’s hard to enjoy something when you binge it all at once.
Exactly how I feel. I’ll freely admit that season 7 has been one of my favorites, and even if I only get 3 more weeks, I want that time.

I’m not avoiding spoilers, but I’m not watching them until they air in the US. I try to do a character pic or three after every episode and I couldn’t keep up.
Fair enough. It is pretty hard to avoid them all completely.

Respect to Iron Will’s escape plan. Also respect to the writers for not making him completely the bad guy in his second appearance like they did with the Flim Flam brothers. while what he did may be unethical he didn’t lie and probably completely legal. I also like that both Twilight and Star Tracker both were at fault. Star for not being aware of personal space and Twilight for not telling him to back off a bit. BTW did you notice how Iron Will took the life jacket out of the telekinetic aura and put the flag inside?

Agreed. He may have kind of exploited Twilight’s family for profit, but you can’t deny he has a sense of style.

The characterizations and interactions in this episode were amazing and fun to watch. And Pinkie’s faces, man…. wow is all I’ll say. A solid (and tasty) episode, 9/10.

The characterizations and interactions in this episode were amazing and fun to watch. And Pinkie’s faces, man…. wow is all I’ll say. A solid (and tasty) episode, 9/10.
No argument here. People tend to shout about “Flanderization” a lot when Pinkie is involved (not that I agree with those who do), but this was very much a solid episode for her. Some great funny moments, some great heartwarming moments, another character to add to the bizaro mane 6 collection…  
 
… honestly it was just fun all around. Safe to say, season 7 continues the trend of being generally pretty awesome.
 
And now I want to go get some pie, because I actually do love pie, and this really made me want some pie.

I’ll admit that I’ve not read the entirety of the comic, but from what uploads I’ve seen it doesn’t work well regardless of wether it’s set before or after the episode. It looks like it focuses on Pinkie constantly trying to get Rainbow to eat pie to get her to like it despite Rainbow’s protests, and regardless of when it’s set it ends up requiring a pretty serious case of aesop amnesia on Pinkie’s part.
 
Like, if it’s set after the episode, the timeline of events would have Pinkie trying to investigate Rainbow’s lies about liking her pies, accepting that Rainbow just doesn’t like pie, and then – despite said acceptance – going on a campaign to force-feed Rainbow a food she hates to make her start liking it, despite this going directly against the episode’s lesson.
 
In fact, I’d say seeing the early leaks did the opposite of spoiling me, if that makes sense. I went in expecting the episode to follow a specific storyline, and it took a completely different route instead. And I have to say I like the show’s take on the concept much more than what I’ve seen of the comic’s.

Eh, the moral of the episode is Pinkie realizing that Dash’s refusal to eat her pies giggity is not a slam against her and Dash’s lies were to spare her feelings.
 
The comic follows up on that with Pinkie trying to figure out just what it is about pies that Dash doesn’t like so she can fix it before accepting that there is no specific reason; she just plain doesn’t like pies.
