Sweet F.A.

I genuinely can’t tell if that’s sarcasm or if you’re being serious. Though TBF, I’ve asked some other people and they gave really sarcastic replies like, “omg you’re looking forward to a Slash album in 2018???”
The thing is, the album is twelve songs long, and six of them are slower songs. And look, I get it. Sometimes, an album needs to change the tone and the pace. I don’t mind the 13-15 track
Apocalyptic Love having 3-4 slower songs, or the 17 track
World on Fire having two points where it slows down a bit, 5-6 songs total.
What I do mind is a 12 song album where you can tell where they crowbarred out the bangers to save them for the upcoming Guns N’ Roses album and left the three singles, a few harder deep cuts, and six long, slow songs that don’t so much murder the pacing as kidnap it, force it to watch as its family is killed by a firing squad, and then hang it in the most torturously drawn out way possible.
They’re also so much lower in quality than before. Probably has something to do with having to hammer it all out in the very short time period between Slash finishing up the last leg of the Not In This Lifetime… Tour with GNR and starting the first leg of his new tour with Myles promoting this album.
