Anytime I randomly choose a word to write, like for a test document or something, I go with “Potato.”

when watching pink floyd’s the wall i find myself wishing we could harness the technology of that fast-spreading wall and use it in the construction industry.

Personally, I find you can’t go wrong with a good masonry brick wall, it just has that classic old-fashioned home look. Don’t get me wrong, concrete walls are strong, but they just feel too impersonal to me, and any wooden wall is right out as while they may look nice they are too fragile and malleable for my taste.

I don’t understand why, nor do I trust, when the url changes from derpibooru.org/1111 to derpibooru.org/images/1111 after commenting. It probably a completely innocent reason or possibly even a glitch, but as long as the chance remains that it’s the work of Satan, the Illuminati, or some unknown force, I’m going to keep that /images/ thing at an unsure distance.

I hope Goat gets revealed soon so I can draw her with super big boobies.

Depends on how sincere the ship is. If someone just wanted to draw two characters together because (shrug), fine. But if they really mean it, then I have reasons. A lot of ships are illogical, ignore the characterization that the creators and other creative types worked long hours to build and way too much of it is based on tiny little details or less. And before anyone says that MLP is about flying, magic horses, I feel that way about shipping in general, not just in FiM. For FiM specifically, I think I’m worried it’ll actually happen in canon. I’m worried the show will turn into a terrible sitcom where half the season is about some uninteresting relationship problem.  
That, and not one of my ships has ever become canon and I’m super-bitter about it.

If computers came out a few hundred years sooner, people would be shipping Romeo with Mercutio and writing steamy incest fics starring Juliet and Tybalt. All written in prose.

Also I’m currently suffering through a beer league hockey game. The only reason I went was my friend said “Scott, would you mind going to the game and pretending you give a shit about hockey?” He knows me so well. Also the place has wifi.

i still remember to this day the time i was playing rayman on ps1. i got to the stone mountains level with a password and was hiding on a ledge beneath this rock golem guy waiting for him to move because, at the time, i thought they were invincible. this asshole:  

 
after a solid 30 seconds of patrolling back and forth, he stopped, took out a canteen, poured water over his head, smiled at the camera, and resumed his patrol. as at the time i was used to atari2600 games and the occasional nes game (i owned mario bros and megaman 2 at the time), this blew my fucking mind clean out of my skull and, even though that game is impossibly difficult to the point of being unreasonable to play, i still remember it fondly to this day.

also, speaking of vidya gaymes, i hate when you face the same boss twice in a game and they either have the exact same battle theme both times or blatantly different battle themes.
 
i think their second theme should be a remix of the first.
