I feel ya, but personally I’m a of Suntrix but Maud X Trixie is a much better ship the anything involving glim glam

Some hope, yes. A very warped part of me wants Steven to be forced to unlock her for help improving his weapon, and speaking to her, has a bit of a Metal Gear moment where he understands why Rose shattering Pink Diamond was necessary, how it made her realize shattering was wrong, and galvanized his desire for peace while helping Bismuth recover her soul.
Then he takes her to meet the two new members of the team, Peridot and Lapis! everybody laughs, roll credits

When Trixie said she worked on a rock farm in magic duel is where it spawned from.

IIRC, Magic Duel showed Trixie working on the Pie rock farm, which was before Maud was introduced proper. When Maud was actually introduced, a few people started shipping her with Trixie, because we of the brony sort are unrivalled in the art of shipping. Afterwards, the comic Damp Rocks explored the what if on if Trixie and Maud interacted and dated, and that got the ship sailing in full force.
