A while ago, YangIsCool brought this idea to me. Actually, it was almost a month ago! Terribly sorry for the long wait, but currently there just isn’t as much spare time for drawing as I would like to have. I hope the picture makes up for the wait!
There she is. Scootaloo on her first big flight, watched and encouraged by her friends, mentors and surrogate family. And Dashie couldn’t be more proud of her!
Yes, I think that Scoots will be able to fly someday, and I would DEFINITELY love to see an episode in the upcoming season with Scoots going through some intensive training with Rainbow, maybe Twilight for the theoretics, and of course supported by Rainbow’s parents! I know, there are a ton of fanfics covering this already. But to be honest: I would rather get such an episode instead of more of this school stuff, or another generic one-off villain showdown.

besides she could still fly like that swol pone even more later on , atleast thats my headcanon. Doesnt really matter anyway sense she is still awesome.

Episode 22 is going to give us a grown-up version of Scootaloo. The logic is simple: if grown-up Scootaloo is able to fly, then Scootaloo will be able to fly later (when she grows up). If she’s still unable to fly as a grown-up, then she most likely will never fly (unless something supernatural happens before the season ends, which is unlikely). Basically, episode 22 is a moment of truth.

And i agree with Lazer. The CMC arc is pretty much closed. The end, she didn’t fly. I’ll be back once the series is over n_n.
Even if she never flies, I have no complaints she along with AB and SB had a great character arc and it has definitely ended on a high note.
Besides I think it’s for the best she remain grounded, as her being disabled would be a good way for her to be a good role model for those who are physically disabled.
Same for Derpy ….you know, before the backlash from angry parents and the controversy…
For sure. It will be EVEN MORE satisfying when Hasbro ends this leaving Scoots grounded as they develop her n_n
