Maybe it’s personal taste and bias, but I loved Sunset’s and Flash’s design when EQG first came out. It was the one of the very few things I enjoyed from that movie.  
Starlight on the other hand, looked a bit… bland? And her colours seemed dull in my opinion, though, that might be because in The Cutie Map, everything seemed greyer.

Starlight Glimmer just looked like Aria Blaze and Suri Polomare fucked and somehow produced a baby despite that being scientifically impossible.

I was more concerned on Mane 6, but yeah, the CMC looked okay I guess. I don’t really care for the CMC though (I only really like Sweetie Belle).

That would make me watch it a 2nd time if that happened, but then that would be the writers actually having fun when writing the movies, instead of super serious for no reason while also not caring what they put down. x3

Rarity and Fluttershy look alright, as I said earlier. I prefer Dash’s pajamas to her normal outfit though. Also, why is it that at the slumber party, the girls are actually wearing more than they usually wear? Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

Rarity’s was okay, I didn’t necessarily like anyone else’s, and the EQG style is kinda bleh, so I had a low opinion on almost everything.  
And it’s more about comfort wear than less clothing (though usually it’s less clothing = more comfy).

Devil’s advocate, the Rainbooms only cheated in the last round. The Dazzlings had been cheating since the beginning.

Can we honestly say they’re cheating if the gems are connected to their voices though? For all we know, their regular voices could be screwed up too ever since their gems shattered.

Understandable, there’s a lot more negatives EQG holds than positives in my opinion. I do like majority of the characters EQG did bring though.

FiW doesn’t deserve any of the praise it’s gotten  
(Most of) the music is pretty great. Other than that it’s always kinda seemed like it was trying way too hard to be _EDGY.

Things must have swung around if this is unpopular now, for ages after Wonderbolt Academy aired there were only a handful of us pointing out that she was a near murderously negligent asshat who deserved worse than she got.

What’s unlikable about Rarity though?  
Some of the dedicated rarihate came from women who hated her because they were bullied by mean/popular girls in school and projected that nastiness on Rarity even though she’s never acted like that, and some came from MRA dingleberries who were pants-wettingly furious at the idea– the very idea!!– that a character using _{~feminine wiles}~ to get what she wants would be portrayed in a positive way; some people also wrote her off as a shallow, fashion-obsessed, G3-riffic airhead without giving her the chance to show that she specifically inverts that trope. Add that to the people who just plain-old-personal-opinion legitimately don’t care for the character for whatever reason, and it looks like she has a lot more haters than she really does.

Bike shorts under a skirt (or loose gym shorts) is pretty standard school athletic wear, especially for practice; it prevents the sort of accidental displays that would absolutely destroy any class full of teenage boys.

Starlight is an off color Twilight with green highlights instead of pink (and post reformation a Rarity/Sunset hair do)

Definitely agree with that last one. I can just picture people sitting in front of their screen with their arms crossed, scowling, while thinking, “Go ahead, impress me if you can.”

Well, Adagio was a good villain. Even though I liked their designs and personalities, Aria and Sonata were just kinda there. Anyways, Adagio was good because she was able to blend in at first, effectively stacked the deck in her favor by manipulating others without putting herself center stage right away, knew to take care of the authority figures long before anyone could complain to them, and she even drove the human mane 6 plus Sunset to despair without having to directly take action against them. She did everything right and only lost by the smallest missed detail (that Vinyl’s headset kept her safe from siren magic). In short, she’s basically what villain Sunset should have been, even down to having an arrogant personality that wasn’t just a mean girl copy.

I wish Rainbow would stop having a crush on Zephyr.
