I think season 8 and 9 are the weakest seasons.

One of my least favorite things about later seasons is how much main characters are acting like idiots to make the new characters look good, which includes Starlight Glimmer. Twilight crying like a mess after her school shut down was one of the wimpiest things she has done.
The End of The End is an awful finale while The Last Problem is only okay at best but doesn’t really feel all that conclusive.
The Grogar twist is and will always be stupid, and Discord is either an asshole for not even telling the two princesses or an incompetent idiot for not even being able to keep 3 deadbeats at bay.

G5 has a pacing problem, even since ANG and is never fixed in any continuation media. We went from trusting Misty to not trusting Misty to trusting Misty again in a short span of one episode while doing everything else for 6.
Despite everything, G5 still has to ride on the success of G4. Whether MYM was cancelled or simply ended, the fact that it ended in such a cliffhanger only for TYT to take over means that A. Hasbro feels Netflix is a less successful medium to use so they opted to just use YouTube, and B. Hasbro just has no faith in G5. They probably thought connecting G4 would have helped but seeing the overwhelming negativity toward it, especially on YouTube, made them decide to drop it.

Here, I list just about every problem I have with the whole franchise, at least as many as I can in general. I think this is it. It’s over. I’m done with MLP. I’m probably just gonna pay attention to fanworks and keep visits to this site to a minimum.

Obsessive people are annoying 99% of the time no matter the fandom.

The Middle Eastern fire was started by the Brits, and the US has since poured gasoline on it on multiple occasions.

Apparently AEW Dynasty 2024 was possibly the lowest drawing PPV in AEW History, I mean based of the two Weeks of complete Bullshit(making it about CM Punk) on the Road to the Event, it can be said that Tony Khan deserves this from a certain point of View. :o

Like Cyborg said, probably a two season order. But also alot of people watched it and that’s what streaming services find important.
I don’t mean hate watching either, the importance of that is vastly overblown on the internet, like a bunch of people who don’t pay attention to internet drama saw the word “Velma” on MAX, remembered scooby doo and watched it, hence an automatic season 2.

I’ll be honest all the drama with Stellar Blade both the obsessive haters and the obsessive fanatics make me never want to play this game. It’s like the purpose is to be another culture war game.

Just like Tlou 2 I will skip this game and never touch it. I don’t care if its good mid or bad at this point.

Besides I got better games to play like Monkey Island.

Back in the old days, fanservice was just some tertiary feature to story or gameplay. But now it feels like this one feature is the main talk. I guess it shows how ranty people are these days.

I feel kinda bad for the creators on a few levels.

I’ve literally not heard any talk about the gameplay just the fanservice. Which sucks cause so far as I’ve heard and seen it’s actually quite well made. Not my cup of tea, but certainly a well made piece of art.

When I have heard people talk about it outside that it’s always in comparison to Nier Automata because the plots are kind of similar.

Lastly all the videos that pop up in my feed are like under 100K outside of few. Maybe it’s MASSIVE on the Korean side, but first glance it looks to be one of those games that will be the star of “Do you remember this underrated game?” videos in a few years on the english side.

Technically, after the movie, they continued the story with TYT first, since it has episodes that take place between the end of the movie and the start of MYM. I think the ending of MYM was meant to wrap up the Opaline Arc, but without making it seem like the generation as a whole was ending.

If you go back and watch Seasons 2 and 3, it becomes very clear that the show was not originally supposed to last three seasons. And Magical Mystery Cure does not function as a series finale.

Rainbow Dash isn’t a wonderbolt. The CMC don’t have their marks. We don’t know about Applejack’s parents. Fluttershy hasn’t overcome her shyness. Rarity’s career hasn’t reached its apex. And Twilight becoming an alicorn raises more questions than it answers.
