That is so subtle… yeah, it doesn’t deserve it… for a while I was thinking maybe it was the extra bright blue most noticeable in the water… but… nope
 
I think the tag may have gotten transfered from a merge that had a dA watermark on it

The other reason is “watermark” is aliased to “obtrusive watermark” so if someone doesn’t know any better and adds the watermark tag, it gets tagged as obtrusive.

Surely there are watermarks that aren’t intrusive? Who decided to alias them? Seems dumb, obtrusive watermark should at least imply watermark, but not the other way around.

Me, I decided it. On the grounds that people were using it for DA-style watermarks, and any type of signature or mark on the image, regardless of size or location (ie. it was getting on images like >>1630223, en mass by multiple taggers/uploaders). Which is a problem because people actively filter out “watermark” expecting that it’d only cover large obtrusive DA-style ones.
 
Making the tag as obvious as possible was the quickest way for people to stop doing that. Maybe people have learned by now what a watermark actually is. But I doubt it.

Ah, yeah, that sounds about right , fair enough.

Why there is no description for the “pony tag? There are 686 solo images that have both “anthro” and “pony” tags and 1682 no-solo images (sure, some of them can have one anthro and one pony, but surely not all).
 
There was a rule not to tag “pony” on anthropomorphic characters, but to use “unicorn”, “earth pony”, “pegasus”, “bat pony” and other race tags instead. Why this is still not written into the description of the tag “pony”?
 
By the way, if someone hasn’t seen it yet, here is a thread about the need of having separate tag, that would include not only ponies, but also zebras, griffons, yaks, cow, donkeys and all other sapient quadrupeds: Quadrupedal characters that are not the five pony races - tag for bodyplan needed
 
EDIT: So as not to create double posts, I have separate question, NSFW-ish one:  
Which tag encompasses sexual behaviors, that are not covered by the tag “sex? That is: handjobs, footjobs, magical stimulation, using sex toys on a partner, fingering, fisting etc. What I mean is: one tag that covers all of it.  
_{If someone will reply that it would be: "explicit, -solo" I will not be satisfied :P}

But checking out those results only showed me on how many images the tag “solo” is missing :/ (On a lot of them).
 
By the way, regarding that last tag - imminent sex - I created a thread 4 months ago where I suggested, that “implied A” should imply “implied sex” where A is every thing that now implies “sex” and has its own “implied something” tag, but the issue was not resolved by now :(
 
The same should be done for “imminent A” - imminent blowjob, imminent anal, imminent penetration, etc. should all imply “imminent sex”.

I totally forgot about this, and I’m editing tags daily :I Maybe it should be more prominent? Some brigther colors, bigger font? xD

I think the only thing truly stopping tag suggestions here is how it doesn’t recognize ratings so you could upload a safe image with RD flying and it would suggest mile high club and anal.

@LightningBolt But “mile high club” _{(I didn’t know this one)} and “anal” imply “explicit” so that it would be easy to rule out if only this would take ratings into account?

idfk, I’m not a dev.

I mean, we already have this problem where you upload your four year old’s drawing of Rainbow Dash, tag it “safe”, then start typing “pencil drawing” and the first suggestion is “penis”.
 
It would be great if certain tags had minimum rating level requirements–with rating in a separate field that you have to populate in order to start tagging. Also, I would like some pie, preferably in the sky.

fancy tags help prevent typos, though…. in fact, if more people used fancy tags there wouldn’t be so many silly typos
 
It is annoying though… I almost hit confirm on some explicit term on a safe image… caught it right before I hit enter.. I’m not sure if it would allow you to put I think it was like vulva on a safe image lolz… I forgot what I was trying to put..

That’s right.. I think I was trying to put vulgar and accidentally almost hit submit on vulva…
 
I hit enter but then realized it put vulva instead of vulgar and deleted the tag before hitting confirm
 
See, I guess it just never came to me that vulva would have more tags than vulgar… I was almost sure by putting “vul” that vulgar would get accepted so I almost hit confirm lolz
 
I guess you can always change it once you hit confirm as long as it doesn’t like get locked by a mod but… yeah

“Vulva” implies “explicit” anyway. Last time I heard about it, doing that would give the image both ratings - “safe” that you typed and “explicit” because implications. I don’t know, if this is fixed now?
