Than you have a shallow idea of unconditional love, since it’s not love you’re after, but obedience. If you loved someone, than you’d want to not allow them out of respect and listen to them, understand them when they think differently from you.

Other humans get my respect as a fellow human, and the mutual understanding that I will attempt to act within civil interests, but I won’t unconditionally love someone who ain’t kin to me or I’m not bedding.
