Moonbase Alpha is really long lost NASA footage that they’re too embarrassed to show publicly because the astronauts keep rambling about John Madden and AEIOU.

Star Trek: It’s a Wonderful Life and “Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People’s Ears” have both been used in temporal mechanics curricula. The former shows the ripple effects of excising someone from the timeline, and the latter shows how seemingly trivial things can lead indirectly to unforeseen consequences.

Myst: Where Releeshahn Maintainers’ marks were later added to Ages from the Myst, Exile, and Revelation:

Myst: Never added. The descriptive book was never moved from Earth.
Stoneship: On the telescope platform. Questions of jurisdiction are not fully resolved, however.
Channelwood: On the island, just outside the windmill. The area, however, is now administered by a surviving branch of the tree dwellers’ tribe.
Selenitic: Where the path from the rocket meets the path around the lagoon. Incidentally, by now the oasis will have spread at least as far as the clock and the rocket.
Mechanical: On the linking island, just behind the retractable stairs.
Rime: Near the hut, just to the right of the door.
J’nanin: By where the squee nest was.
Voltaic: (Or whatever the Age’s actual name was) Just across the bridge from the linking island, and to the left of the path.
Amateria: On the mossy island, across the path from the door to the turntable track controls.
Edanna: Swamp level, on the side with the nemel lotus root you enter in-game, but closer to the other nemel lotus.
Narayan: Never added. Narayan is independent, and relations with Releeshahn remain fraught to this day.
Haven: In the ruined linking structure. However, the Age is now a Pod Age.
Spire: Right in front of Sirrus’ sculpture of the scene from his childhood.
Serenia: Never added. Serenia is independent.

Another Myst idea:
The electromagnetic principles of Spire’s musical crystals were discovered, and other Ages with them Written. This led to the development of new musical instruments; the haunting tones of the in-tune “spider chair” prototype are now sometimes found in the music of Releeshahn, Averone, and Tay. These aren’t the most portable of instruments, though, so the tones are often synthesized.
However, the crystal bombs are also a favorite of terrorists as it’s harder to blow yourself up accidentally. So these musical instruments have security features built in to make extracting the crystals harder and to prevent the instruments from being used as bomb generators.

Narnia: Two botanical ones:

Doctor Who: In “The Mind Robber”, the Doctor had to submit willingly; otherwise, the Master of the Land of Fiction could simply have had Brennan Caldwell from Kathy Tyers’ Firebird series put the Doctor under voice-command.

Pokémon Scarlet: Millions of years ago, before plate tectonics drove Paldea into the mainland, the ongoing arms race between predator and prey on Paldea was especially ferocious. Tinkaton is a relic of this time.

Star Wars: An aging Jar Jar laid down his life helping people escape when the Yuuzhan Vong seized Coruscant.

Mega Man: Proto Man sometimes steal robo cookies from Dr. Light’s lab.

Chronicles of Prydain:
The Pre-Common-Brittonic from when the stories are set was partly Q-Celtic and partly P-Celtic, depending on the local cantrev’s dialect. Taran himself, having been raised by the centuries-old Dallben, spoke an archaic Q-Celtic dialect that was mutually intelligible not only with the contemporary language but also with Proto-Celtic.
