Tsunderes flip back and forth between the two, as the episode was going Ember only went from one to the other and never back, she’s missing the key feature of a tsundere.  
And even if they start out more on one side and by the end is more on the other, they still flip back and forth if they are a tsundere, again not Ember.
 
Also this was over the idea of friendship, not anything just about Spike, so aging not really one.

Shining Armor is kind of a flat character. He doesn’t have much depth other than being Twilight’s older brother. Sure, he’s kind of a nerd, but that’s about it as far as depth.
 
So, how would you fix this? How would you give him more development? Personally, I would have an episode about what made him decide to join the Royal Guard.

Funny thing is that’s more or less what tsundere originally meant. It was a term about character development before it became popularized as character archetype.

Another funny think is people blow it out of proportion even if it is with the what it originally meant.  
The “dere” came from somthing that means “lovey dovey”, coming from how they don’t just warm up to them but love come in.  
With Ember is was just the idea of friendship.

There are two types of tsunderes: The classic tsundere and the modern day tsundere. Ember is more of a classic tsundere.

I don’t watch a lot of anime but even I thought Ember was very tsundere. My definition of tsundere is simple. Her words imply she dislikes or doesn’t care about you but her actions say the reverse. That’s it.
 
EDIT: And yeah, it doesn’t require romantic feelings either. If Sasuke saves Naruto’s life and Sasuke insults Naruto by saying he only did it because he thinks Naruto is a weakling, then for me, Sasuke’s being tsundere.

Even if you never marry Selena, Saizo, Takumi, or Jakob to anyone else in Fates, they’re still tsunderes.

In Nightjack’s defense, you both are right but under different definitions.  
While contemporary -dere characters have very much expanded into fields of non-romance, traditionally -dere characters were defined by their romantic expression, or at least how they convey affection. I mean the dere that comes from deredere literally means lovestruck and lovely dovey.

I would also speculate that Rainbow’s parents married at a young age too. Knowing their antics, I wouldn’t be surprised they’d do a ton of funny stuff that young people are notorious of getting into.  
Rainbow might have been an accident that prompted them to get together.

Has a new line of Squishy Pops been announced yet? I found some bearing the new logo and character background, but they’re not supposed to be out yet. Since this is the first I’ve heard of them, it’s possible they haven’t even been announced yet…
 
Also, I found this “Annual 2017” book, but I noticed some strange inconsistencies: In it, it is stated Babs got her cutie mark, but apart from that, the most recent episode it references is IAEBB. It outright states the CMC don’t have their marks yet, which combined with IAEBB being the most recent episode I can find a reference to, suggests this is a reprint of the 2014 annual, released early 2014 or something. And yet it states Babs has her cutie mark, but doesn’t specify what it is… Am I missing something here? Or did they write off Babs the moment One Bad Apple started getting negative reviews? Though the latter would explain the answer in >>379815… Notice Babs was the only character they explicitly said wasn’t returning…
