Outside of that, I do wonder about the extent of their breakout. The one glaring thing being the new puppet. Will Lily still be allowed to use said puppet, or will it be scrapped and replaced before it’s debut.

Aside from that, the context of why they broke up from Lily’s point of view is that Lizzy didn’t know what to do with supporting Lily after what happened in October.

Also having finally read through all this one thing I’m frustrated to see is that I don’t see Lily making any sort of positive change from this. Not helped by the fact that those trying to comfort her are basically absolving her of any blame, with Lily not seemly understanding why Lizzy would have broken up with her and it somehow blindsiding her.

I honestly cannot help but doubt that when Lily says she’s been neglected on affection, I consider maybe the opposite being true is that Lizzy basicly being her support system was a constant and exhausting effort, an immense source of stress.

The problem is though, given how long Lizzy has allowed herself to give into Lily’s narrative and stay on her good side, where she can’t even admit that the problem had been with Lily, it is perhaps unsuprising. Just how toxic their relationship likely was.

I mean Lily says that she sacrificed for their relationship, yet it would likely have taken a Herculean effort just to put up with all her crap. To constantly watch one’s behavior and what one’s says, given Lily’s past behavior towards those who got on her bad side.
