I’m pretty sure that the reason there won’t be a plot-driven story mode is because Sakurai was too embarrassed to admit that Subspace was a huge mess, not because of the whole “cutscenes on YouTube ruin the surprises”.

and because smash wiiU will not have a complex hsitory mode, it will have even more stuff than brawl and smash 3ds together!

The 3DS game card can hold just as much as a Wii disc, maybe even more (as it’ll lack the massive FMV cutscenes that Brawl had, which is why that game was a dual-layer disc game).

And that matters how? It doesn’t invalidate the entire damn thing. They probably guessed based on little rumors they heard. You can’t argue against an actual prima preview scan.

Guys, something may have potentially leaked! Look at this preview scan of the prima guide.  
 
Look at that screenshot about diverging paths, the one next to giant Mega Man. We can see circles of the logo for the Animal Crossing series and Sonic series in the blue and green circles, but that logo in the red circle is completly new! I looked closly and it looks like something out of rythm heaven! The Chorus Men/Marshal are probably in the game.
