Someone’s already made pony life and if it gets aliased into my little pony: pony life then that will solve all this “it’s too long” issue.

What’s the difference between triple penetration vs. all three filled? They seem quite the same at a glance. Should they be aliased as all three filled -> triple penetration?

After reading about calarts style here, would anyone mind if I changed the images tagged there to bean mouth? It seems more accurate, and given the article examples, one of the main gripes people have with this style/trend/phase. That or the term the article used: Thin-line animation.

All three filled means vaginal, anal, and oral at the same time, while triple penetration just means three things are being inserted at the same time, but not necessarily in different holes.

There’s this one guy tagging his uploads 2020 community collab. Is this a legit thing, or something else? Should the tag be nuked?
 
(That probably is what the collab tag will be, but it hasn’t even been announced yet.)

Does anyone know a situation where toe beans applies, but not underpaw? I know it’s not the case with only the paw print, since that’s the paw prints tag. If not, should toe beans imply underpaw?

I can get them removed and reupload if i gotta, i just have alot to do so i started early, since its the 10 year anniversary of FIM I wanted to try to get everyone i know into the picture so for christmas im drawing everyones ponies for the purpose of going into the collab

I actually think an alias would be best. Vaginal/anal penetration are aliased into vaginal/anal respectively, and since “penetration” tags are explicitly for penis or tentacle, using a dildo would go under oral insertion.  
(Easy to see where mix-ups come in given how often these are mistagged, though…)
 
An alias into oral, mind, not “blowjob”. Actually now that I think on it, aliasing into blowjob is probably more equivalent to anal and vaginal than the more general oral, even if it does mess with the consistency.

Yeah, treating it like “anal insertion” makes sense. That’s the precedence, and it seems useful, especially for those who want to differentiate between objects and organs.

There’s more than one way to polish a knob; “blowjob” and “facefuck” have been recognized as two different things since the earliest recorded descriptions of sex acts.

Since the tags are locked, I can’t do anything, but… I think this should have the tag “nonsexual nursing”.

When I find that an image uses a base, I tag the creator(s) of the base. Recently, someone went through artist:alina-brony29 (a prominent base-maker) and removed a lot of those tags. Is it bad practice to tag the creator of bases alongside the person who edited the base?

I’d say it’s bad practise to REMOVE the artist tag of the base creator. You’ve been doing it right

Artist:alina-brony29 was replaced with artist:lazuli. It’s her new name. I’ve already requested an alias on that.  
Still, I also want to know whether base creators should be tagged as artist. They do participate in creating the picture, but tagging so really clutters up the artist tag. And some artists use their own bases as well, so filtering out base used doesn’t work perfectly…

If a “base was used” then the resulting work has a derivative copyright from the original artist whose work was used as a base. And that original artist’s rights are reserved.
 
Tagging the original artist whose work was used as a base respects that artist’s copyright, and makes sure that people who do not want their art to be used “as a base” are alerted that their artwork has been used this way, and gives them the option of asking to have that derivative work deleted.
 
Such works should also be tagged “edit” on this site, which indicates that the original artist did not create it, and that the resulting work is a derivative copyright.
 
Sometimes there’s an additional step in all of this when the person who made the base is not the original artist - there’s a lot of “base makers” who use other people’s work rather than creating their own. In those cases only the ORIGINAL artist whose work was “made into a base” should be credited along with the person who made the derivative work - in our practices, the interceding person who made the base doesn’t have a copyright claim on the work.
 
So, please tag the person who made the derivative work, and the person whose work was used as a base.
 
But don’t tag the “base creator” - their derivative copyright is on their base, not on the original artwork that they made a base from, or on the derivative work whose copyright is based on the ORIGINAL artwork, not the “base”.
 
2LDR:
 
If the image is a base which is an original work or used a screenshot from the show then only the base creator is credited.
 
If the image is a base made from another fan artist’s work then both the base creator and the original artist whose work was used to create the base are credited. The original artist’s copyright takes precedence.
 
If the image used a base that was an original work then both the artist of the derivative work and the base creator are credited. The base creator’s copyright takes precedence.
 
If the image used a base that was created from a fan artist’s work then both the artist of the ORIGINAL work and the derivative work are credited. The person who made the work has no copyright claim on this site in that case. The original artist’s copyright takes precedence.
 
Images that use bases are always tagged as “Edit” because their copyright is derivative.
 
This is why on this site original artists can ask to have derivative “traces” or “base used” edits of their work deleted, and why derivative works must respect the original artist’s DNP settings.
 
MUCH 2LDR: Basically we treat “Base Used” as a trace, for copyright and takedown purposes.
