I hope when I watch the episodes when they air in America they are as good as everyone says they are. I’d hate to be underwhelmed like I was somewhat with Parental Glideance and how some people said it was a masterpiece.

I watch a lot of blind reactors, and some were not fussed on it at all. You could tell. Mainly they sided with rd and thought her parents weren’t punished enough, or they found scoots annoying

Well I do seem to recall some people saying “Parental Glideance” wasn’t that great before I had a chance to see it, so you’re probably not alone in that thought. I thought it still ended up being a great episode, but that’s just my opinion of course.
If it makes you feel any better though, the most recent of the Australian releases sounds like it lives up to the hype. Careful nosing around in the comments (while avoiding spoilers) has given me the impression it touched more than a few of even the most jaded fandom hearts.

Like I said, I still liked Parental Glideance, but I don’t think it’s among the top five best episodes of season 7 like a lot have said.

Me either, mainly as I find Scootaloo’s over the top stalkerish tendencies more creepy than cute, and it feels like half the reason people like the episode is so they can milf-waifu Windy Whistles, who isn’t anything special. The only good thing about the episode is that I can headcanon Bow whatever his name as Rainbow Blaze just with a new CM. If Soarin can change his CM, so can Rainbow’s dad.

I can’t say I disagree. Much as I love little Scootaloo, there are times you have to wonder if there’s a Rainbow shrine in her closet adorned with stray hairs, cast off bits of clothing, and any other special thing she may have found going through Dash’s trash.
I’m also not ruling out a suspiciously stained body pillow. You know what kind.
