It’s clear the makers of that show revel in hatred of the old fans. On one hand, I think that’s kinda funny and I speak as a fan of the old show. I still think TTG is bad though, at least from the six episodes I’ve seen. I just think the humor is nowhere near as clever as it thinks it is.
 
But then I am biased…

I saw a preview for the Teen Titans go movie. Of course, the majority of the trailer was a unnecessary fart joke.

What book has a layout like that?  

The Gargoyles speak and understand modern English for the same reason alien species do the same in TV/movies: because having characters staring at each other trying to make sense of what to them is incomprehensible jibberish for an entire TV series/movie isn’t really good entertainment.

Pan Pizza made two “Worst Cartoons Ever” videos two weeks in a row. (Not counting his podcast videos.) I’m impressed because those and his top 10 videos are the videos I look forward to the most when watching him.

Some cartoons actually do this, and then they use this alien tech or magic relic as a universal translator.

It’s a shame that the original teen titans cartoon isn’t on Netflix.

Oh crap, I just realized that…

Blue Clues is getting a reboot, The Loud House is getting a Spin-off, and Nick is getting a new show about ponies….

Hmm. I like Loud House and the way it’s written, so I kinda want to see the spin-off. But aside from Bobby and I guess Ronnie Anne, I either don’t care about or don’t like the Casagrandes. So I’m also kinda not interested.

How long before people accuse nick of ripping of my little pony? Also, I haven’t heard anything about Blues Clues since the failed attempt at a spinoff that ultimately killed the franchise.

Eh, it wasn’t really a good show though. I liked it when it first premiered, but when I’ve tried to watch it in the last several years it was a chore to get through.
 
The constant anime-style reactions are cringeworthy, with the show practically going “hey, we’re referencing anime! Aren’t we cool?”, but since the anime boom is long over they just come off as terribly dated. And even if you take all that out, which would mean cutting out about two thirds of the entire show, the writing just isn’t that good.
 
The jokes aren’t even that good; most of them aren’t any better than TTG.
