Also, it’s not exactly like Luna was the sole victim of the generally useless pony population.

yeah i know. i’d just like some manner of in-universe reason for why a rescue wasn’t attempted sooner. like even if they pointed out celestia couldn’t free her sister, or whatever, i’d be fine with it. it’s safe to assume that was the case, but as it is right now they’ve never outright stated that she never bothered to try either.
 
as for letting her subjects do that nightmare night shit, well, that was a solid dick move. not only was it not true at all, but she was actually in a prime position to tell them to stfu. and it’s not like it was rumors either, but a national holiday.

I don’t even like most alternatives to peanut butter or really nuts in general and didn’t expect I would like nutella before I tried it, and yet as it would turn out, even somebody like me would like nutella.
