Again that’s not something you can adequately use to compare viewership for. Why are you using a Technology related video as an example. I’m not sure if someone mentioned this before but trailer numbers are not an indicator of overall success. If that were the case the Emoji Movie should have been a Box Office smash.
I’ll concede the point about Disney’s Marketing for Zootopia,but there is still more than enough time for the movie to advertise. The voice Talent will likely be on Late Night Talk shows to promote the movie towards movie release. Still have plenty of time. As mentioned before we have HasCon still. If they continue this trend for their marketing strategy into September then I’ll be raising questions. As of right now My main concern is the movie itself. I’m not worried about the movie but at the same time overhyping myself. I’m just maintaining contained excitement while remaining rational about everything.

think of it this way people on Youtube find a 11 second video of a guy in a factory line help making an iphone way more interesting then musical segment from th upcoming theatrical MLP movie if its able to do double its viewership numbers in a day

is there enough time? sure however the question is more or less how they use it Hascon would probably be little to late since basically be less then 3 weeks unless unless the new trailer is great but knowing how things have gone so far it probably just be slightly better then the trailer before it & that ain’t saying much really. as for September the marketing according to Hasbro would Really Start after Friendship Day however its been like 2 & half weeks & its just bite better so I’m not gonna hold my breath for September being big improvement a small one probably but nothing special

Apple products especially Iphones have always been in demand. When it comes to technology people will do a lot to extract any sort of information anywhere or look at videos that might contain it. These phones aren’t limited to any set audience. Therefore it’s no surprise that a video like that gets those kinds of views. Yet it is not an adequate comparison for what you are trying argue here. It’s not an animated trailer, it’s not a scene from a movie it has little to do with cartoons at all.
You’re a person who is skeptical of the marketing for the movie and I can see why you would be,though at the very least try to use some better reasoning behind your own.

Its usual comperison when it comes tomeasuring the hype of it since this was a few years ago a scene from the theatrical MLP movie could have easily beat something like that with no problem now most new trailers or preview of a new show or new season of a show promoting what comes next or even simple videos like the factory line can easily beat scene or even trailer for theatrical MLP movie its basically more about how strong[or in this case how weak] the hype is right now

Grubber, a pug-faced hedgehog soldier, hails from a tribe of hardened warriors. Unfortunately for Grubber, he lacks the size of his kinsmen. But that doesn’t stop him from talking tough and rough like the others. He’s earned his place of honor as the assistant to the nefarious Storm King through his wise-cracking and cunning. Though he’s quick with joke and a battle-strategy, he’d probably be much happier just relaxing in the sunshine with some tasty treats. At his core, Grubber is just a good guy put in a bad situation. His constant comedy and banter makes him one of the standout characters in our story.

If someone has described his character like this, that means he will not be very funny. Maybe the character is actually good, but, after many animated films and shows with some annoying comic reliefs (such as Wreck it Ralph, The Simpsons and every Illumination Entertainment film), I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up as one of these characters.
But, again, maybe it’s good. It’s a possibility.

The MLP team are smarter than this. Even as a new movie meant for as broad an audience as possible, they could have done a far better than just throwing a bunch of the same stereotypes and cliches into what appears to be a half-hearted script.

I actually quite like him, though he is being marketed really obviously and generically.
Still with Storm King pretty much openly cosplaying an evil overlord and having way too much fun with it, and Tempest taking herself way too seriously, his normalness is a nice balance.
