Rapture is the belief that people are going to be transported to another realm, or the nature of reality itself is going to upheaved or transformed. Rapture can refer to political, and economic concepts.
Insanity is the state of being consumed by psychotic (abnormal) thought. Abnormal thought itself is the key to creativity. There is a difference between some abnormal beliefs, and a life being consumed by abnormal behavior.
Good and evil are not absolute things. Biologically speaking for humans, it refers to prosocial (for the benefit of others and society) and antisocial (disregard for the rights of others, disregard for society).
People that believe in god can have a strong foundation to build their experience of their world on (a reference point), the flaws can be worked out consciously. Faith is an unremarkable artifact in the pursuit of human function. The bad that religion can be used for only reflects the bad already in peoples hearts.

Plenty of atheist are also delusional. They can think that being rock solid about one abstract concept automatically makes them a better person, and they often make it their personality like a pothead. They can become intellectually complacent and stop learning, just because they rejected one abstract concept without any form or function for doing so. If you want to go way above weak rookies, try agnosticism, the belief that some knowledge is unobtainable/incomprehensible/ineffable you’ll get along with a lot more people.
If you attack religion, focus on the issues relevant today. My English teacher told me to never bother arguing an abstract belief system. Focus on the facts.
