I call bullshit. Twilight HERSELF should have gone to the dragon lands and inquired about their biology. There is no way Ember would deny her; it’s for Spike’s sake, after all, and she OWES him. It’s just shitty writing on the writers’ parts and no excuse, in show or out of it, can explain it away.

Can’t you ask someone who hasn’t heard any inkling of the leaks whatsoever? Or is that impossible, since any such person (a fan of the show) probably couldn’t be found online?

Well there’s a lot of bleed over, for lack of a better term, at least on this site. Like there’s a lot of images on the site that allude to it without outright saying it. It’s kind of like everyone knowing what Rosebud is without seeing Citizen Kane to an extent. It’s not impossible, just unlikely to be found.

I wonder how many fans of the show there are who don’t interact with the fandom at all online, with one possible reason being because they don’t know about the fandom, or they’re just not the kind who goes online for fan interaction. Truly the “casuals”.

I have a friend who loves the show, is online a lot, and knows of the fandom…but hates the fandom because of how it acts and what it places value on.

I watched the episode with some friends who’ve avoided any spoilers. They got the sense that something was up pretty quickly.

She had no reason to think dragon growth would involve anything traumatic like the Molt because people like Smoulder and Ember turned out perfectly ok.

at this point, with just this one episode i would maybe think that there could be something strange going on, but i would never think that she is evil. all one can really see is that she acts a bit strange.

Hmmm… Rariety vs. Rainbow Dash. Actually I wonder why. Doesn’t Rarity saved Rainbows … reputation in Rarity Investigates! !? Literally the birth hour for so many Rarity x RD shippers? ;-D
 
I don’t get it. Okay, they both have… egos which could clash, and yes, they have not so much in common. But to make a whole episode about this… Then again, I really like Fake It Till You Make It. Even if it’s hated by some people. Triggered drama, but still enjoyable if you have the chance to see some other side of the character.

Rarity X Dash is okay. Nothing special, but it’s good if we’ll see some more of both of them. Together. ;-)

Yes and No. I think Uncommon Bond was more around this “my friend like my friends” thing. I guess I understand what you mean, but I assume it will be more like PPOV. (shrug) I don’t know. (^_)
